2. How We Use Your Information

• Send work-related alerts and notifications via SMS and email (e.g., shift schedule notifications, open shift offers, shift swap requests and approvals, time-off updates, and time clock reminders).
• Manage employee scheduling, time tracking, and team coordination across locations.
• Facilitate shift swaps, open-shift claims, and time-off requests.
• Authenticate users and maintain platform security.
• Improve our services and user experience.

3. SMS and Email Communications

By providing your phone number and enabling SMS notifications in the SquadSync system, you consent to receive work-related alerts and notifications, including but not limited to shift schedule notifications, open shift offers, shift swap requests and approvals, time-off request updates, and time clock reminders.

When SMS notifications are first enabled for your phone number, you will receive a confirmation message informing you of the enrollment and providing opt-out instructions.

Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by disabling SMS notifications in your SquadSync account settings. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your schedule and workplace activity.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:

• Service Providers: Third-party services that help us deliver notifications (e.g., Twilio for SMS, Resend for email) and host the platform, under data processing agreements and solely to provide the service.
• Your Employer: Administrators and managers at your workplace who require access to scheduling and time records for their authorized locations.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission, secure authentication, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law (for example, wage-and-hour and scheduling recordkeeping).
