SquadSync Terms of Service

Effective date: July 2, 2026

SquadSync is a workforce management platform operated by Lay Group Labs LLC ("LayerCraft," "we," "us"). By accessing or using SquadSync at squadsync.layercraft.ai, you agree to these terms. If you use SquadSync through your employer, your employer's agreement with us also governs the service.

Use of the service

You may use SquadSync only for lawful workforce management purposes: viewing and managing schedules, recording worked time, requesting time off, swapping shifts, and communicating with your team. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of information you submit, including time clock entries.

SMS messaging program

Program name: SquadSync Workforce Notifications. Program description: SquadSync sends work-related text messages to employees who opt in, including shift schedule notifications, open shift offers, shift swap requests and approvals, time-off request updates, and time clock reminders. Certain messages support replies (for example, CLAIM to take an offered shift, or APPROVE/DENY for managers responding to swap requests).

You opt in by adding your mobile number and enabling SMS notifications in your SquadSync account settings. Message frequency varies based on your schedule and workplace activity. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Reply STOP to cancel and opt out of SMS messages at any time. Reply HELP for help. You can also disable SMS notifications in your account settings or contact support at andy@laygroupstl.com. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of employment.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to access other users' data, interfering with the platform's operation, or using the messaging features to send unlawful, abusive, or harassing content.

Disclaimers and liability

SquadSync is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and our aggregate liability arising out of the service will not exceed the amounts paid to us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use of SquadSync after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
